Hi All. I thought I would start a catch all thread to discuss the costs of different items, goods, salaries, houses, etc in 1811.
For me personally, I'm wondering what to price my bouquets for because I just received a letter inquiring about prices. After consulting basic receipts and personal spending registers of the time, I'm thinking somewhere between 1 to 2 guineas. A pair of gentleman's nice leather gloves was 1 guinea. History buffs, ur thoughts and advice please?
