Tavvi Thistledown has been receiving both inquiries and entreaties regarding the creation of some sort of escritoire-based salon, to try and fill the space left by the absence of her frequent small salons on topics of general interest.
After consultation with her good friend, James Hughes, MP, it was decided that they would jointly run a salon through the mails. She has agreed to be the recipient / organizer of the first round. It shall proceed as follows:
The initial topic shall be, not an academic one, but rather one of languishment and reminiscence. Choose, if you will, a favorite item that you miss – Hazel Wynnewood and The Wilde Violet Theatre, perhaps, or favorite restaurant where you frequently take a repast. A cherished milliner who had promised you a cunning new hat for summer picnics? Fortnightly tea with close friends and an afternoon filled with gaiety and gossip? Share what you sigh for, that we may all collectively mourn the spring of the ton that wasn’t.
Send your plaint to Octavia Iara Thistledown (Tavvi) and she will collect them to a single missive and resend them back out for all to see.
Awesome y'all! Don't forget to submit your articles to the GMs at https://airtable.com/shrxGGV79Cw4Z2Gus That is what Athena @Tara M. Clapper (Lady Catherine Stuart) @Abraham Griffen (Steve he/him) @Lady Jessamine St. Clair (Meredith)

Additionally, I thought many players might enjoy placing ads for their companies and services in the newspaper. That way, we can all name drop their companies and services in our letters to make our shared world feel more lived in and connected. Personally, I would love it if people are sending bouquettes with their letters that they bought them from W. Gadsby Florists. (Delivered by flower delivery folx). <3
