I know this isn’t a conventional larp and a lot of people are using images for their characters, but I thought we could have a place to post our Larp costumes if anyone wants to cosplay. This is my look for Hazel:
So glad I'm not the only one doing real Looks! I still want a gown and some stays before spring so I can take photos out at the Crane Estate in Ipswich but I did style a wig. The curls ended up a bit later style for the Regency, but I'll either tweak it or just consider Miss Beatrice either ahead of her time or just very silly to be wearing barrel curls when a gentle natural curl is more the early 1810s style.
Crane Estate <3333 I got to do a Steampunk Larp there and wore most of my Regency clothes. DREAM come true! Hope to get to put on that show again in the After Times.
i literally own exactly 0 regency-style clothes so I picked the closest thing I own.... Enjoy Lady Jessamine (including one shot with her hair down.... scandalous!)
I'm using this LARP as my excuse/motivation to make Regency garb, so I'm excited to see others on here already have their outfits together! It definitely adds to the inspiration. (The ultimate plan is to make both a woman's outfit and a man's, tailored to fit me)
Empire waists are the sworn enemy of anyone over an B cup. I also feel the pain. Have yet to make a Regency dress. May cave but not holding my breath for how attractive it will look.
I only have one Regency-era dress in real life because it is wildly not my era in terms of fit/what looks good on me, but it's definitely something Lady Violet would wear if she were being more proper, albeit with way more accessories and an absurd hairpiece.
This outfit is my favorite combination of kinda-Regency-looking-things, so of course I forgot to get a picture of the full look.
Have silly hat. Will write letters.
Mr. Edmund Ayles, put together out of the closest thing I had to period-accurate clothing.

Beautiful sister! 😍

Duchess Eudora St. Clair of Devon - the outfit isn’t as period as I would like it but it was the closest with what I had.
I’ve been embroidering for around a month. :)
In case anyone needs or wants embroidery tips/instruction, I figured I'd share one of my favorite resources: https://www.needlenthread.com/videos

Exactly, I have Renaissance and earlier garb. Some Revolutionary War garb.
I came here to support you guys and say you look great!
I would love to join in... but I have either Renaissance or contemporary LARP pieces.
You look so pretty. I feel you. I’m a big busted, cinched waisted lady. Empire looks very tenty on me
