Hi Guys!
Once upon a time, when this game was a little smaller, @Duchess Eudora St. Clair and I posted claims for manor houses and titles so we didn't all wind up living together with the same titles. Naturally, these kind of became long and beautiful threads that might be a bit intimidating to those who joined late, and who will join later.
So, I had the idea of creating an AirTable form for those who care about these kinds of details to generate a concise list of this information.
Important Note from Athena:
We do not require players to use online communications for this game, so there could still be plenty of players who do not use that list so it is possible there might be some double use of place names, manors, etc. If that does occur the proper thing to do is pretend that they are referring to the "other" estate or title by that name. If you could just put that caveat on any posts you make about it, I would appreciate it.
Side Note from Greg
If you just want to be TitlePeer Firstname Lastname and don't care about the "of Place", that's totally cool.
If you just want to have "lovely home in the country" and not take it further, that's completely fine.
If you want to claim a specific house but not a specific title (or vice versa) you can just claim what you want.
This is really just a courtesy/tool for new players and existing enthusiasts who are interested in this level of nerdery.

So, I chose a last name that sounded cool with a title that sounded cool, because I needed that to actually exist for some reason. But I also intentionally styled my character as the "youngest son" because his behavior is that of someone who does not expect to inherit. So do I still claim that title on the form? It would be his father's.
Giving this a bump :)
If you need something corrected, you can always comment here and I'll fix it.
I know you've decided. Just wanna offer a couple of additional considerations so you can adjust if they're important to you:
What's within a day's ride of other players I want to be neighbors with? (35 miles)
If I plan to be in London for the Season, how far away do I want my non-Season house(s) to be?
Thank you for the advice! I ended up making up a title based on a pretty country house I found. I appreciate everyone responding!
I'm a little intimidated at figuring out how to decide where titles and houses are based. Any advice?
Marquess Lansdowne
Main Estate: Bowood House (relocated to Bradford-on-Avon for proximity to Bath)
Lansdowne House in Berkeley Square London; Redgrave Hall & Redgrave Park in Suffolk;
Country Home TBD.
Family also owns several other properties and land tracts, particularly in Ireland, occupied by extended family there, including Derreen House in County Kerry.
Also, if you already filled out the Homes or Peerage thread and don't have the spoons to submit here, reply to this comment and I'll hunt down your info. I have an odd surplus of spoons of late.
